We liked the place especially due to the short distance from the train station. Shops like 7/11 were very close to the hotel. Also - staff was really friendly. Room was rather small - but it was fine for us as we were used to it in Japan. Bed was really, really comfortable. There were 2 toilets for men and 2 toilets for women on the floor - next to the lift. It was ok. The bathroom with showers and small onse was on the ground floor. It was great! Spacious with many different cosmetics. Although there were many people in the hotel I did not feel that. It was possible to buy a day-transport card for Kyoto in the reception (very convenient). I think it was possible to drink free tea and coffee on the ground floor but we didn't try it. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very modern and well designed. The bed was very comfortable. In-room amenities included a toothbrush, toothpaste, pajamas, towels, hairdryer, and bag for taking to the bath area. There was also an area in the lounge with some additional items you could take up to your room if needed including pillows and luggage racks. Really enjoyed the shared bath space but it was a bit on the small side. There are 5 shower stalls and 4 sit down types in the bath space. It was nearly empty when I bathed at 10pm on a Thursday. There is also a wall of different shampoo and conditions you can choose from which was a nice touch.

The location was great, it was a short walk to a major train station, the subway, and a bus stop. It was also really close to where the tour buses meet for Limon tours which was a plus. The shower stalls are BEAUTIFUL, super spacious and clean. Even though the room was small there is ample space under the bed to store your suitcases which was nice. Oh! and the tea corner in the lobby was so nice! I loved making myself a pot of tea at the end of the day and relaxing in the lobby area

This was one of my favorite stays in Japan. The tea and coffee bars were more extensive and of better quality than expected. The reception was helpful in explaining how to best travel to different sites and sold bus/metro passes. Loves experiencing the public bath and the music streamed from their sister hotels was a great touch at night time. The location is good; near the main Kyoto train station as well as a metro stop and bus stops. 2 convince stores within 5 min walk.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. The showers and onsen are on the first floor but this didn’t bother us. The free tea and coffee felt like a nice luxury after coming from a dirty hostel in Osaka. There is free laundry (diy) but the dryers do take a couple of hours to dry your clothes. The rooms are smallish but clean and all you need to sleep in. The people on the desk don’t speak the greatest English but they’re still lovely and helpful.
